
GATR will soon be forming a National Mountain Bike Patrol group. If you like riding your bike, helping other people, being involved in the management of your local trails, Learning and sharpening such skills as outdoor first aid, trail side bike repair, off-road riding and communication, then IMBA’s National Mountain Bike Patrol is for you!

Class 1 Part 1
Tuesday March 09, 5.30pm-9.00pm
First aid, CPR and bike repair (If you don’t need CPR and FA you still need to come to this one, however the bike repair will be the last thing on the agenda so no need to rush to be there at 5:30)
Class 1 Part 2
Wednesday March 10, 5.30pm-9.00pm
Mountain bike patrol training
Location: Station 24 Gwinnett county fire dept, 2735 Mall of Georgia Blvd, Buford, Ga. 30519
Off hwy 20 and 85, located behind the tag office. There is parking at the tag office, or you can go around past the front of the station to the parking lot on the far side, the classroom doors are on that side.
Class two
April 03, 9.00am-5.30pm
Full day, First aid, CPR, bike repair and bike patrol
Location: Yellow River Park

Signed up for yellow river class. I assume we’ll get some info as the date gets closer as to what time we can arrive if CPR/First aid are already completed?
